Andy and Margaret have many years experience of playing the pipes and fiddle for weddings, corporate and civil functions, private parties and also concerts and festivals.

They perform regularly throughout Northumberland, the North East and other parts of the UK and Europe.

Andy and Margaret have recorded two CDs of their music so far and feature on several other compilations.

Margaret has produced a book of 52 tunes with harmonies for pipes and other melody instruments. You can see sample pages here.  Tunes can also be commissioned and written especially for you.

16th October 2025
Another date has been arranged for us to play at Howick Garden visitor centre and this will be
Monday 27th October from 2pm to 3pm. Hoping to see lots of people there. The acoustics are sublime and it’s always a joy to play there.

 

3rd September 2025
Thanks to all of you who came to our last summer gig last night. The hall was full and what a great night to finish the series of summer gigs…..and many thanks for such lovely feedback afterwards. I’ll put one or two comments from you below this post. Sad that it’s come to an end but we will be playing at Howick Garden in the visitor centre on next Tuesday – 9th Sept. – from 1pm to 2pm.

Wow, what a great night at Craster 2 nights ago. Thank you to all of you who came and filled the hall with warmth, enthusiasm and some lovely feedback – see below. You were fantastic….thank you! The sad thing now is that we only have one more gig to play before we finish for this season.
It’s on Tuesday 2nd September again in Craster Memorial Hall – such a great venue, and just up the road from the Jolly Fisherman pub. As Always, do get in touch if you would like to reserve seats for this, our last gig of the summer. It would be fantastic to have a full hall.

Thanks to all of you who came to our gig in the Creighton Hall last Thursday….Amazing…the hall was full! What a great crowd you were and such great feedback! Thank you!
Next is an hours playing in The Chinese Room in Howick Garden visitor centre on 12th Aug. Come along and say hello and hear a few tunes in an amazing setting and wonderful acoustics.
And then it will be our next gig in Craster Memorial Hall on Wednesday 20th Aug. Do get in touch if you would like to reserve seats for this.

We have two more dates for playing in the Chinese Room in the visitor centre at Howick Garden. These are Tuesday 12th August and Tuesday 9th Sept. Both of these will be 1pm – 2pm

What a great crowd you were last night in the Pavilion. The hall was packed and thanks for all the fabulous feedback afterwards. We’ve a week off this coming week and then back on the 8th July playing in the Crossman Hall on Holy Island. 24th June 2025 – IMPORTANT UPDATE 
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have cancelled our last summer concert which was to be on Tuesday 16th September 2025. Apologies to anyone who was planning to come to this one.
So our last gig of the summer will be on Tuesday 2nd September in the Memorial Hall, Craster.

near Barnard Castle DL12 9TS. Start time is 6.30pm and tickets are £17.50 per head available from

SUMMER CONCERTS 2025 – SEE DIARY PAGE FOR DETAILS
We have planned a series of 9 concerts starting towards the end of May and continuing through until mid September. Do check the Diary page for the dates and times.

They will all start at 7.30pm with the doors being open from approx. 6.50pm.
Like last year, it will be £10 per person and accompanied children under 12 free.

PLEASE NOTE, ALL OUR SUMMER SERIES OF CONCERTS ARE CASH ONLY.

We don’t sell tickets in advance but if you would like to reserve seats for any of our concerts, don’t hesitate to contact us through the contact page.You would then turn up at approx. 7pm on the day of the concert and pay on the door.
We are looking forward to meeting lots of old friends and also new ones.
